Orange Caramel’s Interview with Star News
-Wrapped up After School’s 1st Japan Activities and comeback with Orange Caramel, How do you feel?
▶Raina : It’s kinda fun because it’s been a while. 3 of us is back with Chinese concept this time, we transformed into 3-twins with same hairstyles and even facial expression, It’s a song with our own style, So we feel happy.
▶Nana : Our choreography is also easy to be followed, It will be popular. Isn’t the Kungfu Moves interesting?
-Super Junior Heechul wrote the Song’s lyric.
▶Lizzy : Kim Heechul oppa has been supporting Orange Caramel for a long time. He often play our song in the radio, and he gave the lyrics for us a gift before enlisted to army service
-Nana has a solo song in this album.
▶Nana: ’Close Your Eyes’ Is my first solo song ever. The song is kinda touching and i worked hard for singing it . I have been burdened because it’s my first solo song but with help of Raina unni, i did it well.
-The comical music video is also impressing.
▶Raina : All three of us have a role as a girl who sedducted the male main role. I did walked and acting pretty then doing eye contact with the male but then i bumped into a lamp, Nana also entertaining with snobby acting. Lizzy also failed when she try to flirt the male main role. We really have a lot of fun when shooting, so it will be good if the fans like it.
-3 of you seems looks close rather than with other After School Members.
▶Raina : Among After School members, 3 of us dont really have a big age difference , we also trained together, and we have been through a lot together, so we have really good relationship.
▶Lizzy : All members are close with each other. And we gained a lot of recognition because of Orange Caramel activities, so i’m happy.
-How was your Modeling/Acting activities?
▶Nana: I made an appearance on Japan’s Famous ‘Tokyo Girls Collection’ . It’s a first modeling after i debuted and i am so nervouse because i had to modeling with famous japanese models. But i dud my best. And also , T-Ara is performing in the show too, and i feel so proud as korean singer
▶Lizzy : I made an appeareance on sitcom MBC ‘All My Love’ in past 7 months. I was actually appeared only as a cameo for 1 episode,And i feel happy because i got to wrapped it up until the last episode of the sitcom. It feels like retired from entertainment industry.(Laugh) And i’ve received an advices from actor/actress sunbaenims that made an appearance too in ‘All My Love’ And i would like to challenge for acting on a drama. Lately, i’ve been practicing to speak without accent.
-Is there anything you would like to challenge?
▶Raina : I want to have a solo album. I thought appeared on ‘Immortal Song 2’ is a honor for me. Even i only appeared for once,I feel happy because a lot of people giving a compliments.
▶ Lizzy : I want to be all-around entertainer. Singing, acting and being a MC. I also want to be a Music Show MC, and i also want to be a Professor who teach entertainment division on the university.
▶Nana : I want to try acting if there’s an opportunity
-After School was ranked #6 on Oricon Chart, How was your Japanese activities?
▶Raina : It’s exciting and surprising because a lot of people recognize us. When we went to a Shopping Mall, the fans are taking a photo and greet us. We are also happy that we have a chance to do a show with famous japanese singers. K-Pop popularity is awesome lately. On the street at japan, there are a lot of korean singers posters, and i feel happy just by looking at it
-Orange Caramel will have a competition with Girlgroups such as Girls’ Generation, Wonder Girls, Secret and T-Ara..
▶ Raina : There are a lot of Girlgroups that will have a comeback soon, And it will be called ‘Gulf War’. But we’re happy that we have different concept with our own styles. We will shows up the unique and funny vibe on stage whose only Orange Caramel have.

Super Junior’s Heechul parodies Orange Caramel’s ‘Shanghai Romance’
Super Junior‘s Heechul has shown the world his love and support for Orange Caramel‘s ‘Shanghai Romance‘.
The picture was released through Heechul’s Twitter, and netizens are now dubbing the image as “Shocking and horrifying Heerange Caramel“. Heechul is seen posing as all three members of Orange Caramel (Raina, Nana, and Lizzy), imitating perfectly the aegyo shown in the original image.
Previously, Heechul also parodied Orange Caramel’s first single, ‘Magic Girl‘, with fellow members Shindong and Eunhyuk.
Orange Caramel replied to Heechul’s photo with, “We are so thankful to Kim Heechul-sunbae for not only helping us compose ‘Shanghai Romance’, but in parodying it as well. We will work hard to match your level of support for us. We want you to look forward to our new visuals, which will be shown soon through the stage.“

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul apologizes on his final episode of “Radio Star”
Super Junior‘s Kim Hee Chul made an apology before heading off to serve his mandatory military duties.
The latest episode of MBC’s ‘Radio Star‘ that aired on October 5th was a continuation of Kim Heechul’s goodbye special. On this episode the guests were Boom, Dynamic Duo, and miss A‘s Suzy.
His last words to the audience were, “I think I went a bit overboard on the subject of my leaving to serve in the military. I will become a better and more mature person over the next 2 years.” After this statement, he received a round of applause due to his sincere words.
Fellow ‘Radio Star’ member, Kim Kook Jin said in his closing statement, “We will see you all (audience) next week with a new MC,” while looking at Kim Hee Chul from the corner of his eye. Then Kim Heechul replied, “I hope that you all will let me know where they have parked,” which created much laughter. Heechul is serving in the public duties for the military and he said that as a joke to imply he will try to work as a parking officer.

Orange Caramel will be making their comeback with a new song called “Shanghai Romance”.
As reported earlier, Orange Caramel received much love for their hit song, “Bangkok City”, from their ‘One Asia Project’. This time, they’ll be showcasing one of China’s most vibrant cities as their next ‘destination’.
The girls drew in a star composer for “Shanghai Romance”, and on October 5th, Pledis Entertainment finally revealed this individual’s name.
Representatives stated, “Super Junior‘s Kim Heechulparticipated as a composer for Orange Caramel’s new single. In the album, he was introduced by his nickname ‘Big Space Star’.” They continued, ”The combination of Orange Caramel’s delightful melody and Kim Heechul’s unique lyrics resulted in a song that’s fresh and lively, so please anticipate it.”
Orange Caramel will be releasing “Shanghai Romance” on October 13th.

Mnet Media Awards 2011 released list nominees!
The awards will be held on December 18, 2011 at 6:00 PM KST. The show will last 4 hours and will be broadcasted live throughout 10 Asian countries and satellite broadcasted to 45 Asian counties.

On September 29th, Super Junior‘s Sungmin posted on their Official website, “Here is a surprise present, One, Two,,” and went on to reveal two pictures as well as news about Heechul.

Kim Heechul to release a new duet with Kim Jang Hoon in September
It’s just been revealed that Super Junior’s Kim Heechul had a meaningful recording session with legendary singer Kim Jang Hoon.
On August 31st, Kim Jang Hoon’s representative revealed, “The song that Kim Jang Hoon and Kim Heechul sang together will be released in mid-September. Kim Heechul is at the recording studio singing his part right now.”
In response to the hype surrounding his last-minute recording session, Kim Heechul tweeted, “Kim Heechul Kim Jang Hoon duet. Jang Hoon hyung gave me the last present of my 20’s,” and uploaded a picture of himself posing with Kim Jang Hoon at the studio.
Meanwhile, after receiving basic training at Choongnam, Nonsan for four weeks, Kim Heechul will serve his country for 23 months of mandatory military service as a public service worker. Kim Heechul was involved in a huge car accident back in 2006, and had to have eight metal support pins inserted into his lower body. Because of this, he had to sign up for the less physically demanding public service position.

Super Junior’s Heechul sheds tears two days before enlistment
Super Junior’s Heechul started to shed tears two days before his enlistment.
On the August 30th episode of SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘, Heechul revealed in a tearful confession, “As the enlistment problem is becoming a reality, all the Super Junior members talked face to face about their futures.”
When Heechul began to cry, Eunhyuk also began to show tears. Eunhyuk stated, “The important thing is that as the members become older, even becoming fathers, we can always share stories together. Even though we smile and chat a lot, there are times when we cry at home. Coming out together is even memorable“.
After the broadcast ended, Eunhyuk could not hold back his tears as it was Heechul’s last broadcast.

Super Junior members expose Leeteuk’s ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ personality
Super Junior’s Leeteuk had his ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ personality exposed by his fellow members on the latest broadcast of SBS’s “Strong Heart“! This episode featured appearances from Leeteuk, Heechul, Siwon, Ryeowook, Yesung, Kyuhyun, Sungmin, Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Shindong.
Donghae began, “As the leader, Leeteuk stepped up and said that he’d directly tell the manager our complaints. However, Heechul went up first and came to tell Leeteuk, ‘It’s your turn next,’ but Leeteuk said that he didn’t know anymore and washed his hands of the issue. He turned Heechul and the other members into the bad guys.”
Shindong continued “At an overseas shooting, Sungmin and Eunhyuk jokingly teased Leeteuk, but after a little while, Leeteuk’s mood suddenly changed and he told them to stop. Leeteuk gave Sungmin, Eunhyuk, and I an evil glare, and then grabbed Eunhyuk’s neck.” Shindong then gestured grabbing a neck, which caused the audience to laugh uproariously.
Leeteuk cheekily responded, “Shindong is too big and Sungmin learned martial arts, so a skinny person like Eunhyuk was the easiest to grab.”
Other double personality stories about Leeteuk were also told by Siwon, Yesung, Eunhyuk, and Heechul.

Super Junior’s Heechul talks about his decision to enlist in September
Super Junior’s Kim Heechul to enlist in the army on September 1st
It’s just been announced that Super Junior’s Kim Heechul will enlist in the army on September 1st!
The idol will check in for basic military training at Choongnam, Nonsan for four weeks. Afterwards, he will be serving 23 months of mandatory military service as a public service personnel.
Even though Kim Heechul is a much-loved K-Pop icon who receives international love and support from his fans, he stated that for his enlistment, he would like to do it quietly and does not want to gather attention regarding this matter.
Representatives from SM Entertainment stated, “Kim Heechul will still be promoting with Super Junior and working on his television programs like MBC’s “Golden Fishery – Radio Star“ as a MC. He will be giving it all he’s got until the day of his enlistment.”
Super Junior are currently in the midst of their promotions for their 5th album, “Mr. Simple“.

After officially announcing that he woud be joining the army next month, Super Junior’s Heechul sat down for an interview with Star News and revealed his thoughts on his upcoming enlistment.
Heechul began, “I’m already going at a later age than most, so I wanted to enlist as quietly as possible. After I enlisted, I was planning to tell everyone through Leeteuk’s radio program. Those around me, however, said that it wouldn’t be respectful to my fans or to everyone else who had an interest in me, and I agreed. That’s why I revealed my enlistment decision at the company today.”
He continued, “I briefly did think about delaying it, especially since it hasn’t been that long since Super Junior’s fifth album, ‘Mr. Simple‘, was released, and also because it’s doing so well… but I thought that it’d be better to just turn my decision into actions while I was still in the mindset. I actually feel more comfortable now that it’s gone out. In the remaining time, I’ll be concluding my broadcast activities as well as make a visit to my hometown in Kangwon-do. There are a lot of things I have to do.”
Heechul also thanked his members and fans by stating, “I’m really thankful to the Super Junior members. I’m too shy to say it directly so I texted them saying, ‘You guys need your hyung.’ I’m just so grateful for them and I trust that they’ll lead Super Junior in a great way while I’m away.”
To his fans, he said, “Thank you for loving me unconditionally over the past six years. I won’t, however, ask for you to wait for me. Instead, please support me again if you still like me when I come back with a heart of starting anew.”
